Bishop John Fonzer, known to the readers of his books as J. Louis Fonzer, is the senior pastor of Christ Connection Ministries in Richmond, Indiana. His writings have been used in Bible Colleges, forums and taught for Sunday School literature. His course on armourbearing was one of the original electives for the Full Gospel Baptist Church Fellowship’s Online College. He currently writes Sunday School literature for the World and is a staff journalist for the Perspectives Magazine. His writings are read by in excess of 15,000 subscribers.
Preparing people for ministry and defining them within their callings is his thrust. In 2002, he founded Elijah Institute of Ministry, an accredited school that began in Togo and now has branches and affiliates in Ghana, Liberia, Zambia and Nigeria. In the few years since its inception, EIM and its affiliates that use its curriculum have educated, graduated and apostolically commissioned hundreds of academicians into the world to prepare it for the coming of Jesus Christ.
He is a mentor to pastors and ministers throughout the United States and West Africa. Since 1993 he has hosted CHOSEN, a multi-church sponsored leadership conference that has been key to impacting the ministries of its attendees and sponsors.
